Q. Tell me more about yourself and your fiancé!

A. Rob is from Nashville and went to UT for school. He works for the Tennessee Golf Foundation and runs a junior golf tour. Kristin is from Kentucky and has lived in Nashville for 6 years. Kristin works in health insurance. We are both very close with our families, love to go to concerts (really missing live music right now!), try new restaurants and other places, and we also love sports.

Q. Congrats on your engagement! What's the proposal story?

A. Rob tried to plan a rooftop proposal with the help of his sister, and told Kristin his sister (who used to be in the event industry) was throwing a big party on a rooftop downtown. Long story short, Kristin refused to go to said “party” because of COVID. So a few plan changes later, Rob proposed to Kristin in his dads backyard and threw a party afterward outside where Kristins family showed up along with her best friend. It was a great day filled with lots of love!

Q. Tell me more about why you chose your ceremony and reception venues.

A. Rob and I are members of West End UMC, we just joined a few months ago. Our faith is important to both of us so we are looking forward to getting married it here. We chose Country Music Hall of Fame for our reception bc joy is truly an iconic location!
