Nashville wedding and portrait photographer

It’s truly an honor to get to photograph families and children as they grow. I know what it’s like to be a parent and how busy life is with little ones. I want our shoot to be a chance for you to slow down and just be together. It’s my hope that the photos help remind you that your life is beautiful and worth documenting, to be cherished and remembered for years and generations to come.

It’s my goal to find the true, good and beautiful in everyone I photograph. I want your photographs to highlight who you are as a family and the dynamic of your relationship. I want them to feel real and lively, not fake and stuffy. My style is a blend of candids and portraits. I’ll give you enough direction so that you feel comfortable, but my end goal is for the photos to look natural and effortless. Most importantly, my job is to help get photos in your hands and on your walls to enjoy for years to come.

Photographing a toddler is tricky, to say the least, and Rachel has been able to make our son comfortable and capture his personality at each stage. She also got amazing shots of our newborn daughter and of our family as a whole. A special touch is that Rachel has taken the pictures in our home each time. She took some gorgeous shots of the baby in her nursery and of our son playing with his favorite toys. She captures joy and emotion in her shots, and we have been thrilled with the results.
